application of the society. The people who accept responsibility gain trust,

quality environment. To be a better place and ethically sound an organization should
create an atmosphere were individuals accept responsibility that is of more
importance.

are several models that can be used for making ethical decisions the right
model depends on the organization which one to choose and depend on. The chosen
model will depend on the values of the organization and the community in which
the organizatin does business. Some of this Ethical models are as follows.

Imperative model:- In this model right is right and wrong is wrong there are no
grey areas. It is also known as Black and White model.

and then stake holders decide what is ethical.
3. Doctrine
of the mean model:- The middle point between two extremes is decided and the
decision is taken in this model.
4. Golden
rule model:- This model follows the Golden rule which says “ DO UNTO OTHERS AS
YOU COULD HAVE THEM DO UNTO YOU”. It is very popular and it takes the views of
the stake holders into account in deciding what is ethical.
5. Market
Ethic Model:- In This model any legal action that promotes legal action is
profitable is ethical. The main aim is to make profit.
6. Organizational
ethic model:- In this model the most ethical decision is one that best serves
the organization’s interest. Unless an organization has adopted a set of guiding
principles that ensure ethical behavior, the organization ethic model is
difficult to defend.
7. Equal
freedom model:- In this model the organization have the right to behave as they
want until it doesn’t hurt the sentiments of the stake holders.
8. Proportionality
Ethic Model:- This model is based on the assumption that the world is complex
and decision ae seldom clearly right or wrong. The best an organization can do
is to make sure the outweighs the bad while making decisions.
9. Professional
Ethic Model:- It states that the decision is ethical if it can be explained to
the approval of a broad cross section of professional peer.
